Horndon-on-the-Hill Feast and Fayre

Saturday 27th June 2015

What a day!

A beautiful day with blistering sunshine and four fabulous performances! It must be the first time in its history that Horndon Feast and Fayre has hosted four original pieces of theatre in one day - three new pieces of commedia dell'arte performed by Palmers sixth Form students and a new, comical adaptation of Shakespeare's Timon of Athens performed by Tom, Jordan and Alex with 19 hats and a box!

Thank you Horndon Methodist Church Hall for being such fabulous hosts! It's a fabulous venue for small pop up performances like ours and we definitely intend on coming again next year!

The students from Palmers were a great group to work with and I was as proud as their family and friends who came along to support us! Thank you for coming!

Most impressive is how they all helped each other out when one of their troupe was too ill to perform at the eleventh hour. They all switched characters and performed their socks off- the audience didn't even notice that anything was wrong!
