Research has begun in earnest on the tales to be selected from “Thurrock 100 Tales”. Which ones will make it? Creating plots and subplots from the stories in the book. Investigation of personalities of Thurrock’s folk lore . How they lived and why their stories survive now? How do they relate to contemporary events?
